Next, we have “Brotherhood By Fire” by Lindy Bell, and let me tell you, this love story pulls on every one of your heartstrings. It centers around firefighter Andy Garret and his wife, Katie. Even though they face one of life’s biggest challenges, cancer, their love for each other and the love of the community shown to them is an example of how we should strive to be. On a personal note, I can’t say enough about author Lindy Bell. She has a heart of gold and was an absolute pleasure to work with. When I auditioned for her book, I was hopeful I’d be selected, but in this industry, you never know. I was thrilled when she reached out to me and even more thrilled to have walked away from the production with a new friend. She’s currently working on her second novel, which should be available in the fall of this year.

In May, I had the pleasure of working with Mac to introduce Colby Watts to the audiobook world in “Deputy in the Crosshairs,” and I have to admit, I kinda love being this guy. He’s cool, he’s calm, he can be a little awkward, and he’s a complete badass who chooses the right thing even if it means harm to himself.
It wasn’t a question of “if” I’d narrate book 2 when Mac asked me, only a matter of when! I’m happy to report that we wrapped production last week, and it’s now available on Audible and wherever you get your audiobooks.
